Version History • Fixed a crash on launch that affected some devices when your history couldn't be loaded (for example, when storage is almost full). The app now opens normally and lets you know — your saved transcriptions are not lost.
• No more lost work: if your history is temporarily unavailable, the app warns you before saving so you can copy or share the transcript first.
• Less data collected: we removed a third-party analytics SDK, which also fixes an occasional crash in the background. 10.9 Oct 1 • Speaker labels: tap "Identify Speakers" after recording or importing to split a transcript by who was talking. Runs entirely on device. Requires iOS 17 or later.
• Translation history: full-screen view, share the original text, cleaner language names, and no more keyboard covering the bottom rows.
• Several crash fixes (purchase restore, bottom sheets, switching audio input mid-recording) and a fix for live transcription dimming the full text on older iOS. 10.8 Sep 10 Start transcribing right away. We no longer ask for microphone and speech access up front — you're only asked the first time you actually record.
